Norse Home is fortunate to enjoy the support of numerous volunteer and civic organizations who provide a broad range of activities for our residents.

We have had performances on a regular basis from:

• Norwegian Male Chorus
• Seattle Banjo Club
• Visiting Scandinavian Artists
• Readers Theater
• Other talented performers and musicians

There is hardly a day when the grand piano is not heard in the main lounge. Exercise classes are held 5 times a week and the workout equipment is available at any time. Sunday Vespers are conducted by pastors from various churches in the area. A favorite regular event of residents is the "Happy Hour". Movies are shown on our big screen TV in the Social Hall. Volunteer groups hold special events, luncheons, craft groups, piano lessons and sewing groups. Our 2 full time activity directors schedule shopping, sightseeing and other trips. All these numerous activities are included in our basic charges.  Additionally, our transportation department provides daily service to doctors appointments, errands and family visitations.
